The Las Vegas Market is expanding its Non-Profit Retail Symposium in an ongoing partnership with the Museum Store Association and Zoo & Aquarium Buyers Group.
The symposium will present programs and events geared to the unique needs and interests of non-profit retailers during the Summer Las Vegas Market, running July 29 to August 2.
In its fourth year, the symposium will expand to include six sessions over Monday and Tuesday of market week. Content, developed by leading non-profit retail executives to address issues of special concern to non-profit retailers, has relevance to all types of retailers, IMC pointed out, and symposium sessions are open to all who are interested.
The market will sponsor a drop-in members club for industry association representatives including the Museum Store Association, MSA Next, Spa Industry Association, Zoo & Aquarium Buyers Group and others. Buyers and vendors can visit the member’s club located in Pavilion One on the Las Vegas World Market Center campus to meet with leaders from MSA and ZAG, as well as representatives from other industry associations such as CRAFT Retailers’ Association for Tomorrow and Munce Group from Sunday July 29 to through Tuesday, July 31. The member’s club will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“Las Vegas Market is committed to supporting non-profit retail, which is an important component of the gift industry in general and Las Vegas Market attendance in particular,” said Karen Olson, IMC svp/marketing. “With input from the leadership of these valued industry partners, our retail relations team has developed an ever-growing slate of relevant educational, networking, marketing and shopping opportunities to deliver added value for members of these organizations.”
